Yalda was originally created on LaStation’s rooftop, where wind, open space, and natural elements influenced the movement. The dancer moves like an albatross, balancing strength and fragility, with choreography evolving in dialogue with the environment. Collaborations with videomakers and a sound designer add cinematic and sonic layers, enriching the sensory experience. The piece explores how movement adapts to space, turning surroundings into an active part of the performance.
